Competition Regulations: Competition: Olympic Triathlon - Distances: 1.5 km Swim - 40 km Bike - 10 Run Qualifications: All men and women possessing a valid starting pass (license) from his country. The official rules and regulations established by the Italian Triathlon Association are valid for this race. Complete and detailed instructions, as well as an updated conditions report, will be issued at a meeting held before the competition. If the water temperature is below 18 degrees C, a wetsuit must be worn. The Road and Highway Code is to be strictly upheld. Since "slipstream" driving is allowed, only the traditional racing bike handlebars can be used. No construction may surpass the line of the brake lever. Competitor entourage: Private entourage cars and bikers on the competition course are strictly forbidden and will lead to the disqualification of the racer. Liability: The organizers and workers accept no responsibility in the case of accidents, theft or any other cases of damage. With registration, the liability exclusion is recognized. The organization committee has the right to make any necessary changes to the existing timetable.
